Doc just grinned, trying to mind his own buisiness.

"I'm a wanderer." Joseph said, "Just breezin' through. But a pretty face like yours is likely to make a feller stay." He gave her a charming smile, as he sipped his drink.

A dark green Land Rover Discovery drove slowly but steady to the town's saloon. He looked like he had been driving for too long without a rest, and the lower parts of his sides were light brown from the dust that had settled on him.
On top of all that, his engine sounded like it needed an examination pretty soon. But that didnt seem to concern the car much as he asked for low octane fuel, probably to keep him calm.
"Excuse me, could you tell me in what town I am in?" He asks.

"Good. Where I wanted to be. I will be here for few weeks." Jack answered and took a drink. "I then need a room, a tire change if you got my size, and most importantly, a checkup.
"The name is Wallace." Jack said, knowing full well that a town so deep in the nowhere rarely got visitors, what about someone from over seas?

"Thank you, it is appreciated. I havent slept in more than one day, there are few towns out here." Jack said. "I had to drive slowly the last hundred miles to be sure I would get here without backtracking."
"Who is the mechanic here? The engine has been buzzing strangely for the last fifty miles, and I don't need it giving up on me when in the middle of nowhere." Jack catches that his statement could be thought as an insult to the town, so he quickly corrects himself. "I don't mean the town that is, more like the surrounding area."

"Yes." Jack said and glanced around, but figured that the ones in town wouldn't be unkind towards him if he told them what he was doing over there. He had gotten hostile reactions from some who thought his job was going to ruin the town.
"I need to get to work pretty soon. I am a prospector, so I need to be fit for some off-roading. Do you know if there is any claimed land here already? Any mines or ranches?"

"Well, thar's quite a few. Well, that's what made this town after all. I got a friend who owns a ranch. I'll talk to 'im fer ya." Doc Adams said, " And I'm the town doctor, if ya need some maitenence."

"I'm ready at whatever time that is convenient for you." Wallace said. "I got enough in the tank to last me for the rest of the day."
"As for the ranch owner, I may talk to him on my own later. I am more interested in land that is not yet claimed. I can't exacly conduct my business on someone's else land."
